Pegging & Men
The concept of “pegging” involves a woman using a strap on to penetrate a man anally. The concept of anal sex was, at one point, considered only to be the domain of women and gay men: straight men were only there to penetrate. However, everyone has an anus and therefore anyone can be penetrated if they want it… Many straight men may feel afraid of this simply because they believe that it’s something only a gay man would want. The same could be said for straight women whose straight partners will ask them to “peg”.
The important thing to remember is that as long as it is safe, consensual and both parties enjoy it, then there is nothing wrong with pegging! In fact, it can be a great way of exploring new sexual depths and getting to know one another even better.
Pegging: How to Start
With anal sex in general, this cannot be stressed enough: use lots of lube! The anus is not a naturally-lubricating orifice. So, you will need to be prepared beforehand. Make sure to get lube that you are both comfortable with and make sure to use as much as is comfortable. Also, make sure to get a strap on that is fitted securely.
Start Slow
This is something that cannot be emphasised enough! There’s no need to rush into this. If your partner feels any kind of discomfort, then stop and go a little bit slower. The anus needs a bit of time to get used to it, so you don’t even have to start with a strap on itself. Other toys such as smaller vibrators, anal trainers or even fingers can be used. Overall, you just need to make sure that you stay with what you’re comfortable with and explore things slowly!
